How I became a mushroom head

I'm a loyal person - but only when I find just the right one.

I went from one person to another. When they touched me, I knew we wouldn't last. Some of them went to great lengths to please me, but all of them fell short. I never had a steady relationship before - one that I would keep, one that would make me go back for more because there is something special between us -

until I tried going to Regine's Salon.

I have never been loyal to a hairstylist before - or to a salon. What does Regine's salon have that made me come back?



Who wouldn't feel at home with this kind of decor? Its a combination of classic and stylish - both teens and grannies can feel right at home. The place is very well designed so people can rush in and out with no hassles. If it wasn't a salon, I would have asked Karina, the salon's owner, to rent me the place instead. Haha.



How to know if your hair is healthy? Go to Regine's salon - they have a special equipment provided by Kerastase that takes live and magnified videos of your scalp. One particle of your dandruff will completely occupy the screen. If you want your hair colored but you think your hair got damaged because you had it relaxed, rebonded, "straightened" or you just use hair plantsa everyday, have it examined at Regine's salon. You will see your hair strands magnified almost 100 times to see if its damaged or healthy. If its damaged, don't get your hair colored. Most probably, your hair will wither away or will look like broom bristles.



After everyone knew I had healthy hair and scalp, Karina decided what color would be best for my hair. I was aiming for long and funky, but they looked like they knew what they were doing so I completely left everything in their hands. Letting the color seep into my hair took quite a while. I thought I was going to be stuck with a boring women's magazine on my lap for the next 45 minutes but one of the staff (Mimi) came over and gave me a ten-minute shoulder and scalp massage. Like how cool is that?

Honestly, I can't keep up with the bangs every time. The bangs are waaay ahead of me. Sometimes I clip it towards one side so the bangs won't blind me. I change my hairstyle every three months or so (I'm not loyal to hairstyles) and this is the most outrageous one I had. Not bad for a first try, don't you think?
