Guns and Laser Lights at LazerXtreme

Shooting someone with a fake gun looks really fun - you can actually shoot people with gusto to relieve stress and find out they are still alive after continuously harassing them. I have been fascinated with guns and shooting for quite some time. I enrolled in a Rifle Pistol Marksmanship class when I was in college and got my license to buy a real gun *exes beware* from having completed the final exams.


I was stopping myself from screaming "TIME SPACE WARP!, ngayon din!"

So when Benj organized this LazerTag event a week ago, I immediately said yes, even though it means leaving early from my photography class.

I didn't know what to expect inside the maze, just that we just shoot each other with a laser gun. We put on our gear, with four areas to shoot - two on your shoulders, the front and the back. You also get to score more points if you destroy a base.

Although we were strongly advised not to run inside the maze, all my teammates were rushing to find a good place to hide or to snipe. There are a lot of ramps and levels inside the maze so you can hide at just about anywhere! The laser guns are quite sophisticated - you get to see who shot you, where they shot you and how many seconds before your gun gets activated.



Is Fritz exhausted or just waiting for someone to shoot?

Each game lasted fifteen minutes and we got to play two games. I went home with my legs all sore from all the running and the squatting. The players are ranked per game. Score sheets are given out with your rank, score, the number of tags you got per area (shoulder, back or front), game stats like accuracy, tag ratio, and effectiveness.

Standard rates are P190 per game, P170 on your second game on weekends and P170 per game, P150 on your second game on weekdays. They also have a big room for conferences and team buildings. Check out other rates on Jayvee's post.
